Russia to repay wage arrears to Vostochny spaceport workers by 2018

BLAGOVESHCHENSK, Dec 11 (PRIME) -- Wage arrears for constructors of Russia’s Vostochny Cosmodrome spaceport currently exceed 44 million rubles, and enterprises pledge to repay the money by the end of the year, Yelena Dulenova, director of the employment department of the Amur Region, told PRIME on December 10.

At present, 1,221 people are waiting for the money, she said.

As of November 27, wage arrears stood at 153.8 million rubles, she said.

Employees of the spaceport complained about wage arrears to President Vladimir Putin in 2015.
